Many times we find ourselves with a good in front of us that it's easier to think about getting rid of by eliminating it rather than considering a possible use.
The popular saying "del maiale non si butta via niente" (nothing of the pig is thrown away) makes us reflect on the possibility that every resource can be useful for something.
This amaro takes us to Apulia in the flat territory of the lower Tavoliere, where the centuries-old presence of olive trees, a fascinating characteristic of these landscapes, has led to the creation of a beverage that could reuse a little-considered element compared to the olive, namely the leaves.
From the hand-picked and selected best Olive leaves (coratina cultivar), rich in beneficial properties themselves, Amaro Secolare is born. It is a maceration in grain alcohol that, combined with spring water and spontaneous herbs (marjoram, wild thyme, and thyme) from the Murgia region, gives a balanced, soft, and delicate taste with the pleasant tingling left by the olive, bringing to mind the rural landscape of Apulia.
